Lumina Series Continuous Motion Vertical Form, Fill & Seal Baggers

The nVenia Lumina Series Continuous Motion Vertical Form, Fill & Seal (VFFS) Machines deliver high-speed pillow, side-gusset, and quattro bags at up to 160 bags per minute in a single-tube configuration. A twin-tube option boosts capacity and provides redundancy in a smaller footprint than two separate machines.

Ideal for food items including coffee, nuts, chips, frozen foods, as well as industrial and specialty products like hardware, pet food, and chemicals — the Lumina operates at lower film speeds to reduce wear and gently handle fragile products. Continuous Motion also creates a controlled downward airflow, containing dust and improving seals when running powders such as coffee or milk powder.

Constructed with 304 stainless steel contact surfaces and servo-driven “D” motion seal jaws, the Lumina ensures smooth, reliable operation at high speeds. When paired with a nVenia dosing system, it centralizes line control through a single 15-inch, icon-based HMI.

Standard features include advanced film tracking, motorized film unwind, automatic stop on film runout, and rapid 5-minute changeovers. Optional features include vacuum film drive belts, reclosable systems, carry handles, nitrogen flushing, thermal transfer printing, label application, valve insertion, and more.
